ECOBULK SX
The new SCHUTZ ECOBULK SX is designed to meet the requirements of special applications:
* Electro conductivity
* UV sensitive filling products
* Fire protection
The ECOBULK SX features an electrical conductive steel jacket which completely surrounds the HDPE inner receptacle. The result is a surface resistance of <10" Ohm, i.e. no electrical charge on the outer case occurs. The static build up on outer side of the inner bottle is dissipated and earthed via the steel jacket case.

Therefore the ECOBULK SX can be
used in explosion endangered operational
premises classified in Zone 1 and Zone 2.
The SCHUTZ ECOBULK SX provides
optimum protection for UV sensitive filling
products through the allround metal
jacket. The SX also provides a fire protec-
tion due to the jacket and the standard
metal discharge cover.

Full description:
Inner container:
• High molecular weight, high density polyethylene, extrusion blow moulded, especially formed to ensure complete discharge of contents.
Outer container:
• Rigid, welded galvanised tubular steel grid with additional galvanized sheet steel jacket to protect the PE-inner container.
Pallet:
• Steel pallet, 4 way entry.
Filling opening:
• DN 150 with screw cap and 'o'-ring seal plus 2" BSP threaded ventilation plug
Discharge valve:
• Protectively placed integral butterfly valve DN 50 with blue handle. Outlet sealed by aluminium-lined PE-foil, closed by 'o'-ring, PE-disk and screw cap.
On request butterfly valves DN 80/150
or ball-valve DN 50 are available.
Permeation protection:
• On request the inner PE-container can
be treated with a double SMP fluorination
barrier which reduces the permeation of
most non-polar organic solvents.

• The SCHUTZ ECOBULK is easy to handle and can be stacked 4 high quite safely. It is easy to load or unload by use of fork-lift or pallet truck, thus ensuring the best use of time and resources.
• The specially designed discharge valves ensure safe and precise control when discharging substances of various viscosities. The different types of seal materials extend the range of applications and offer resistance to nearly all chemical products.

The SCHUTZ ECOBULK range offers the greatest possible volume in the minimum of space. This compact container system provides the best solution for the transport and storage of dangerous goods. Easy to fill, easy to stack, easy to load.
The SCHUTZ ECOBULK SX is a multitrip IBC for the packing of liquid products up to a density of 1.9 . The SCHUTZ Module System allows individual parts to be exchanged. The top of the SX style is attached by screw-bolts allowing removal of the inner bottle for refurbishment.
