ECOBULK RX

The ECOBULK RX offers the possibility for the packing of high density liquid products (upto  2.1 SG). The robust steel construction with additional vertical corner supports provides increased safety during transport and handling.
These improvements extend the life of this multi-trip container and allow crane lifting from the top corners.

The SCHUTZ ECOBULK range offers the greatest possible volume in the minimum of space. This compact container system provides the best solution for the transport and storage of dangerous goods. Easy to fill, easy to stack, easy to load.

Full description:

Inner container:
• High molecular weight, high density polyethylene (HMWHDPE), extrusion blow moulded, especially shaped to ensure complete discharge of contents.
Outer container:
• Rigid, welded galvanised tubular steel grid with strong vertical corner supports. Permanently fixed identification plate with
EURO-TICKET pouch. Screw bolted steel
crossbars on top allow rapid removal of
the inner bottle for refurbishment.

Moulded bottom shell:
• Pressed galvanised steel base shaped to support the inner container and assist total drainage.

Pallets:
• Steel pallet, 4 way entry.
Filling opening:
• DN 150 with screw cap and 'o'-ring seal. Optional alternative - additional 2" BSP threaded ventilating plug.
Opening DN 225 on request.

Discharge valves:
• Protectively placed valve with outlet sealed by aluminium-lined PE-foil, closed by 'o'-ring, PE-disk and screw cap.
Complete discharge through:
- integrated butterfly valve DN 50 with
lever handle
- on request replaceable butterfly valves
DN 60/80/150 or ball-valve DN 50.
(please note the DN50 replaceable valves are fitted with a  rear  aluminium retaining nut)

Permeation protection:

• On request the inner PE-container can
be treated with a double SMP fluorination
barrier which reduces the permeation of
most non-polar organic solvents.

The reason for changing to larger containers are both logical and simple. Your in-house costs are lowered due to:

- Reduction in time for filling, sealing,
labelling.
- Space saving during transport and
storage periods.
- Eliminating product wastage whilst
discharging and draining of containers.
- Easier inventory control.
- Multiple use. Containers may be filled,
transported and discharged many times
during their useful life.
- The built-in ability of the ECOBULK to
be reconditioned.

• The SCHUTZ ECOBULK is really a
space saving innovation. 4 drums each
with a volume of 200 litres, utilise more
space than a 1000 litre SCHUTZ
ECOBULK. A minimum of 35% better
space utilisation.

•The SCHUTZ ECOBULK meets inter-
national transport standards and regula-
tions as well as providing an excellent fill
in ISO-Containers. The low tare weight is
a further financial benefit during transport.

• The SCHUTZ ECOBULK is easy to
handle and can be stacked 4 high quite
safely. It is easy to load or unload by use
of fork-lift or pallet truck and can be crane lifted from all four crane hook location holes or by crane lifting spreader, thus ensuring the best use of time and resources.

• The specially designed discharge
valves ensure safe and precise control
when discharging substances of various
viscosities. The different types of seal
materials extend the range of applica-
tions and offer resistance to nearly all
chemical products.

• Nowadays one of the most important
considerations affecting packaging
system selection is its value and usage
after the initial journey.

• With the EURO-TICKET SCHUTZ
offers a recycling process for used
ECOBULKS throughout Europe which
guarantees a free pick-up and a sensible
utilization of ernptied containers. The
SCHUTZ ECOBULK offers the ideal
module system incorporating easy-to-fit
exchangeable steel, timber or plastic
components, making the ECOBULK a
fully re-usable multi-trip package.
